José Trinidad Casas Castañeda III is
a homegrown leader, public servant,
community organizer, and policy expert
who has spent his career championing the
needs of underserved communities
across Orange County.

Jose attended local public schools, went to Buena Park Boys & Girls Club, prayed at St. Pius, St. Mary’s, St. Philip Benizi, and St. Boniface Catholic Church.
For years, Jose walked to Buena Park Metrolink Station to ride the bus and train to Fullerton College, CalStateLA, and
work in Lincoln Heights, Boyle Heights, and East LA.
